this is the view from my former boss' new apartment in the netherlands. her husband who is also there doing some scientific experiments through a grant entitled his facebook album "view from a crappy place." i'd take a crappy place for this sight. i love the church! i know there are more beautiful and magnificent churches in the area but i like this because it is at the center of a clump of apartments which seem to be enveloping it in an embrace. reminds me of a setting for a musical. an extreme urge to belt out "where is love" from Oliver suddenly overcame me upon seeing this photo. lovely lovely lovely!
